There is a cosy seating arrangement with a well-assorted reference library as well as albums of photographs of all the guests who through the years have come to stay.
A permanent coffee and tea table is laid out. The long dining table and other convenient tables and chairs are made of heavy Zambesi Teak (Baikiaea plurijuga) railway sleepers and the easy chairs have colourful handmade cushions.
The lapa had been built into a granite outcrop resulting in natural rock islands protruding into the area. A small curio shop, cosy bar, restaurant, lobby and toilets fill the rest of the space.
